Antonio Serban

Co-founder

Ever since he started studying architecture, Antonio has developed a real interest in the details and functionality of spaces. His professional experience reveals not only attention to the way in which buildings come together, but to the very essence of designing.

Antonio's approach to architecture is one that involves all the senses -  materials, finishes and lighting playing a crucial part in his designs. Up to this day, Antonio has developed a strong experience in the residential and mixed-use sector, office buildings, hotels and student accommodation.

His most recent accomplishment was winning the RIBA Design Charrette  - 'The Northern Soul -  in Liverpool in which he tackled the controversial subject of 'Death in the City'. Antonio's idea proposed alternative, sustainable burial methods that allow communities to come together in difficult moments and preserving the public realm that was meant to be used as burial land.

As he would say, 'Architecture is only the beginning of a dialogue. The experiences we create as architects make our designs not buildings but places that challenge our minds and our senses.'
